A meeting with representatives of the state company ASFAT was held at NC Kazakhstan Engineering JSC.

The parties discussed issues on the development of the project for the construction of a shipyard on the Caspian Sea together with the shipbuilding enterprises JSC "Ural Plant "Zenit" and JSC "Research Institute" Gidropribor ", having come to an agreement on its further implementation.

At the moment, various forms of cooperation are being considered with the mandatory involvement of Kazakhstani small and medium-sized businesses.

The shipyard will design and build platforms ranging from military and commercial offshore vessels to mainstream surface combatants. Most of the work, especially in the military direction, will be carried out by the Zenit plant.

It is important to note that all projects are implemented only if there is a need and approval of the relevant specifications by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
