Key production achievements in 2023

The year 2023 for the Kazakhstan Engineering Group of Companies is marked by a significant increase in income and the development of key projects, emphasizing the manufacture of products of a high degree of complexity for our customers.

1. Financial indicators:

According to estimates for 2023, revenues total 69.4 billion (plan 51.6 billion, an increase of 35%).

Income from sales of products and services for 2023 is expected to amount to 59.6 billion (plan 48.3 billion, an increase of 23%):

  • for special products - 50.9 billion (plan 42.2 billion, increase by 21);
  • for civilian products - 8.7 billion (plan 6.2 billion, increase by 41).

2. New projects and production development:

As part of new projects and the development of civil production in the national company Kazakhstan Engineering, the H145 helicopter was assembled and delivered to customers at the Eurocopter Kazakhstan Engineering LLP plant. The helicopter, handed over to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, represents the latest model of Airbus twin-engine helicopters used for a wide range of tasks: from search and rescue operations to supporting medical assistance and sanitary measures.

3. Innovative projects:

JSC Kaztechnologies successfully installed a mobile complex for the disposal of anti-tank mines. The project was implemented without costs from the state budget.

4. Development of civil engineering:

JSC "PZTM" has successfully expanded its products for various customers, producing a record number of pendulum suspensions for export. Spare parts are designed for four-axle railway freight cars and provide traction clamp support in automatic couplers.

5. Updating the Aviation Fleet:

The aviation fleet of Kazaviaspas JSC was replenished with two Mi-8AMT helicopters, assembled in Kazakhstan, providing a high level of safety and efficiency in various aeromedical, search and rescue and transport operations.

6. Innovative technologies:

As part of the ongoing work on the development and promotion of unmanned aerial vehicles on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan concluded an agreement with R&D Center Kazakhstan Engineering LLP for the supply of drones, with further training of emergency response operators of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Drones are applicable for both military and civilian needs: for the oil and gas, energy sectors and search and rescue operations. They can also be used for monitoring oil pipelines, gas pipelines, power lines, as well as for reconnaissance purposes, search and rescue operations, and relays for communications and control equipment.

7. Equipment modernization:

JSC “Research Institute “Gidropribor” successfully repairs the shipborne automatic artillery mount AK-306 of ships of the Naval Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

8. International cooperation:

The first export contract in the company’s history was signed for the supply of unmanned aerial vehicles (target systems) made in Kazakhstan.

9. Computer technology:

JSC "Plant named after. CM. Kirov" produced 3,559 personal computers for the needs of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

10. Technology transfers and development:

Kazakhstan Aselsan Engineering LLP has successfully mastered the production of a line of professional digital radio stations of DMR Tier III standards, supplying more than 1,500 units of radio stations for various purposes to the domestic customer.

These achievements underscore the Group's ongoing commitment to innovation and quality, strengthening its role as a key player in the engineering and defense industries.
